Mid-Nebraska Foundation Scholarships need to be sent directly to the Mid-Nebraska address on the applications by February 24th.

Darrell Johnson Scholarship needs to be given to Mrs. Burke by the first Monday in April.

Board of Governors Scholarship to Mr. Hird by February 24th.

Lions Club, Brady Talon Power Booster, and Elmo Cromer need to be to Mrs. Burke by April 2nd.

Haven and Virginia Smith Scholarship to Mrs. Callahan by April 1st.

Brady Teacher’s Scholarship to Mrs. Callahan by April 1st.

Adam Diehl traveled to Texas to compete and represent the Lincoln County Bass Bosses at the regional TBF (the bass federation) fishing tournament. There were 6 teams all together from 6 different states including Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Lousiana, and Arkansas. The tournament lasted 5 hours. The objective to win the tournament was to catch 5 fish over 14 inches with the top maximum combined weight. Adam Diehl and his teammate received first place with a catch of 11.3 pounds. This is the second tournament Adam and his teammate have won this year. Now they will travel to Nationals and that location and date is to be announced. We will keep that information updated. There they will compete for a first place $5,000 scholarship to the college of their choice.

Adam would like to thank Priel Style Baits for supplying the equipment needed to win this tournament. He would also like to thank the Game & Parks for establishing the TBF in North Platte.
