2011 State Fair!
The Brady Eagle Marching Band performed at the 2011 Nebraska State Fair on August 26. We were in full uniform and the weather cooperated nicely! We stayed until 5:00 p.m. to check out the rides and exhibits. It was a great day!

Second place at UNK Band Day! We’ve been working on this for years! Next year it’s on to Grand Island Harvest of Harmony Parade where we’ll have a go at a trophy there! Drum Majors Beccah Barnes and Chevas Shaw did an outstanding job, as well as our incredible Flag Team! I heard many comments down the streets of Kearney as we marched by such as “Nice uniforms!”, “The flag team is really together!”, “Those girls really sparkle in the sun!”. Our drum line judge commented on the drummers being together, in step and “really tight”! It was a really great day!

Here we are between the Gothenburg Havest Days Parade and the UNK Band Day Parade! I’ve heard many comments from spectators who’ve said the Brady Eagle Band did a fantastic job! I know I’m sure proud of them! Now we look forward to the UNK Band Day Parade coming up on Saturday, September 26, 2009. Be sure to head to Kearney to catch the Brady Eagle Band at the Parade. Step off time is 10:00 a.m. We’ll see you there!
